Privacy Policy

Our Privacy Philosophy

At Color Workspace, we believe that your design workflows and assets should remain private. That's why we have architected our platform to be completely client-side. When you use our tools, the processing happens on your device, within your web browser.

Image Processing

When you use our image-based tools (such as the Image Color Palette Generator or Screenshot Analyzer), your images are never uploaded to our servers. We use the HTML5 Canvas API to read and process the image pixels entirely locally on your device. We do not store, access, or transmit your images.

Local Storage & Data Persistence

We use your browser's standard `localStorage` to save certain preferences and history to improve your experience. This includes:

  • Your recently used tools
  • Your saved colors and palettes
  • Your local projects in the Workspace feature
  • Your light/dark theme preference

This data is stored solely on your device. We do not maintain user accounts, databases, or cloud storage for this information. If you clear your browser's data, this information will be deleted.

Shareable URLs

Some tools, like the Color Palette Generator, allow you to generate shareable URLs. These URLs encode the color information directly into the link (stateless sharing). No data is saved to a server when you create or visit a shared link.

Analytics and Advertising

We may use standard analytics and advertising services (such as Google AdSense) to help support the site. These third-party vendors use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
